14th August! Can Pakistan overcome its plague?

14th August,1947 Pakistan gained independance from oppressive regime of British, and started a new chapter on world politics. A dream that Jinnah dreamt faded very quickly. And after 62 nd year of Pakistan Independance, the whole country is in a mess! The wars with India yield no result, neither the talks with its more stronger neighbour.
Pakistan is a failed state now and it is a failure in every sphere. The communal violence created by Sunni's against Ahmadis and other minority groups are the result of failed state machinery to protect minority groups. But whats happening with Shia Muslims. Though they have support from Iran, yet their mosques are turned into slaughter houses. The govt machinery has failed to cop up with menace like "Tehriq-a-Taliban, Pakistan". They are ruling everywhere in Pakistan. ISI's role here is very questionable. Not to forget Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, the supremo of Pakistan's most powerful organisation, the army. Pakistan is at war in and outside. In afghanistan with US, they are striking in vain to eradicate Afghanistan Taliban, offcourse it was a brain child of CIA and ISI. With India, both with arms and without over Kashmir issue for 63 rd year and running.Inside, a more dirtier lawlessness. MQM, LET, TTP etc. There is this feeling that Zardari and Gilani are loosening their grip from respective posts and may not run much longer. 63rd year and Pakistan need to get up from ashes.

Are mosquitoes are evolving too fast...?

Aaah...What d...Slap..Just as u slap it,the blood comes sputtering from its body, offcourse the blood is not his, its yours..
Mosquitoes have been living in this world millions of years before human began to appear. These tiny little insects must have given some annöying hours to even mighty Tyranosore. Today's Human seems to be more prone to its attack. First the environment, wheather or not IPCC claim or others decline, is changing.
Its becoming more wetter and more warmer year by year. Secondly we are not covered as our ancestors did. So the point is that we are facing much dire coinstances that our ancestors did thousands of years ago. My story begins from here.
I live in a small town in India. It is situated among the pictureisque hills of Himalaya. You might be knowing that every year May to September in India is regarded as rainy season. During this season everything as its peaks, especially the insect family (mospuito, fly etc.). But the oe thing is that this time we are suffering an silent outbreak of mosquito related allergy. I have never felt that allergy before, rather none of my friend had been allergic.
The mosquitoes are sanguivorous (blood suckers), when they insert their proboscis they also release a type of saliva , which does not allow blod to clot and render help in sucking. This saliva is the cause of irritation and blitch marks.
I never had blitches that last longer than 3 minute , even they turned red. But this season it is different. It is lasting more than an hour or two. Not only with me, but also to the people i know and meet. They complain me a lot. For me it seems the following,
1. Our immuno system is becoming more and more weak, by our life style may be due to eating, drinking, too less sleeping hours etc. and
2. It may be a reason but it needs scientific study i.e. Evolution of mosquitoes. Evolution is not myth but fact. And if it is happening then it is becoming more frequent. May be more mutations have helped this situation to come.
I have read somewhere about Skeeter Syndrome, but I know that they are very rare in any developing countries. If changing of environment is helping these mutations to occur in mosquitoes, then what is happening to others? May be more, even we can't spare ourselves from observation.
N.B. I allowed myself to be bitten by a mosquito and again the allergy like reactions did occur. This persisted upto 3 hours. Please do not try this at home or anywhere else, because it can invite many pathogen families including malarial parasite. So use mosquito repellant, cover your hands and legs when travelling to mosquito infested area. Do not let waters to be stagnant near your home..Just keep yourself at bay from these nasty creatures from Jurassic and beyond
